Colorado Jalapeno Salt
As he gobbled some nachos at a ballgame five years
ago, Bob Moran asked himself a question: "Why not put
the jalapenos with the salt?" A trying half-decade of
R&D later, a recipe finally "clicked" for Moran, the "founder/president/inventor/clean-up"
of Hot Peppers Enterprise. Unlike the big boys of the
seasoning industry, Moran doesn't toss hypertension-inducing
additives into the mix, instead infusing clean Utah salt
with fresh jalapenos via a patented process. |

culinary salt, its fiery granules hang about one's palate
"married to and melded with the food" - everything from
popcorn to chili - without dominating the taste buds.
Moran's spices currently come in three flavors: smoked
jalapeno, red jalapeno, and garlic jalapeno. More are
